Poker Aces – how to wager them

Poker Aces references two aces dealt pre-flop. It’s the best possible before theflop hand inTexas Holdem Poker. But regardless a good many players find themselves on the losing end when dealt this hand.

When you’re dealt a pair of Aces, you just do not drop out pre-flop. You’re sitting with the best achievable hand at this stage of the round. So how do you bet with Poker Aces ? Do you simply go all-in? I would say definitely no to that.

Remember, you’re trying to generate as much profit out of this strong position. You want to maximise the opportunity. Going all-in will basically scare most competitors into dropping out without making a wager.

If you are in the early seat (1st or 2nd to place a wager), you’ll lay a single bet. Any person with a decent hand will call, with hope a player might raise. If someone has made a raise don’t spring to re-raise or call, pause for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.

After the flop your plan will be to get rid of anybody that could be able to get a straight or a flush. So I would begin to raise boldly, if you’re fortunate you’ll trick 1 player into thinking that you are tricking.

If you’re in the middle or late seat (near the last to wager) you will watch as everybody calls and then raise. Even with you holding a pair of aces, if you can try to avert a show-down. Defend your hand by making the other players fold after the flop. If you do not abolish your competition you chance losing your hand.
