Seeing as we are assumingly (nearly all of us) in the game for one purpose – to earn $$$$, it would make sense that we would gamble accordingly to maximize our profit potential. Now let’s say you are up one hundred dollars off of a 100 dollars deposit, and you suffer a large hit in a No Limits game and your bankroll is at $120. You’ve squandered eighty dollars in a hand where you should have picked up $200two hundred dollars when you decided to go all-in on the flop and enjoyed a ten to one edge. And that fiend! He bled you dry on the river? – Well hold it right there. This is a classic opportunity for a fresh gambler to begin tilting. They just blew too much money on one hand that they really should have won and they’re agitated
