Online poker has become globally acclaimed as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years many types on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling blackjack than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer instead of each other. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little bluffing or different kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up just before the dealer broadcasting "No further wagers." At that point, both you and the casino and of course all of the different gamblers are given 5 cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you have to either make a call bet or surrender. The call bet’s amount is akin to your original ante, meaning that the stakes will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your bet goes directly to the bank. After the bet is the showdown. If the house does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, with a sum in accordance with the ante. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The house pony’s up cash equal to your ante and set odds on your call bet. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
