Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the western in a fantastic game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the house, unlike nearly all other poker games that gamblers bet against other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, starting players do not need to worry about other, more skillful people taking their money.
A further Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game play, novices should be able to take their time and scheme while not needing to make frenzied selections.
It’s also simpler to gamble on for a very long time with only a little amount of money seeing as, to lose, each of your hands needs to be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards faces showing and the dealer gets 7 cards faces hidden.
A five card hand and one two card hand must be put together from the 7 cards, the five card hand has to be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be better than the dealer’s.
