Caribbean Poker Protocols and Tricks

Online poker has become world acclaimed as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years many variants on the first poker game have been created, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling twenty-one than long-standing poker, in that the players wager against the casino instead of each other. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no conniving or different types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the dealer announcing "No further bets." At that instance, both you and the dealer and of course all of the other gamblers are given five cards. After you have observed your hand and the bank’s first card, you must either make a call wager or bow out. The call bet’s amount is equal to your beginning wager, which means that the risks will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your bet goes immediately to the bank. After the bet comes the face off. If the bank does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, plus a sum in accordance with the ante. If the bank does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The dealer pays cash even with your original bet and set expectations on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
